Node-RED flow generator
Describe in plain words what your Victron installation should do. The assistant will ask for details, then prepare a JSON file for import into Node-RED on Cerbo GX. Every file is checked against the Victron node catalogue before release.
Hi! Tell us what should happen automatically — for example, when to switch a relay, what time to change inverter mode, or at what battery state to start the generator. Also tell us what devices you have.
The file passes a technical check (valid JSON, existing Victron nodes and paths, correct code), but that does not guarantee the logic is right for your installation. Before Deploy, check every node, and the relay circuit must be safe in both states. The flow does not replace the BMS, fuses or disconnects. Victron does not provide support for Node-RED solutions.
Conversation content is sent to OpenAI’s GPT model, which generates the responses. We do not store conversation content on the cpv24.pl server — only a counter of generated files for the IP address, deleted after 7 days. Do not enter personal data or passwords.
After import
- Select your devices. The device number is different in every installation, so device-specific nodes (for example, the battery monitor or MPPT controller) must be opened after import and selected from the list. The generator will list which nodes are affected. Aggregated data from the system node — battery state, total MPPT power — work immediately.
- Relay in manual mode. The GX relay must have the “Manual” function (Settings → Integrations → Relays) — details in the relay example.
- Deploy and observe. After Deploy, look at the Debug panel — the generator adds a debug node to each output so you can see what the flow sends.
