Campsite current limit
Enter the shore power protection, inverter/charger model and load power. We will suggest the input current limit and calculate how much power the shore supply gives, how much PowerAssist adds from the battery and what current will charge the battery.

Input limit: you set it according to the shore power or generator protection. Ranges from the manual: MultiPlus-II 3 kVA 4–32 A, 5 kVA 6–50 A (larger 8–15 kVA models from 11 A), classic MultiPlus 3000 VA 2.3–16 A or 5.3–50 A depending on the switch. If the shore supply has lower protection than the device’s minimum, you cannot set the limit low enough.
PowerControl: the charger takes only the current left over after the loads. We calculate charge current from the spare shore power: (shore power − loads) × 0.9 ÷ charge voltage (14.4 / 28.8 / 57.6 V), up to the charger current in the model name.
PowerAssist: when the loads need more, the inverter adds power from the battery — up to its rated power. Example from the MultiPlus-II 3 kVA manual: it adds 13 A, so with a 32 A limit the output will be 45 A. For the 5 kVA model we calculate similarly, about 21 A (5000 VA ÷ 230 V).
